Let the record stand that I did first rate this place 1 star and note that the owner was "discriminatory toward women" after my father called and spoke with him regarding a coupon, then when I went in he told me my coupon was no good without even looking at me, walked away and proceeded to greet each male after me by shaking their hands and asking their names while calling them "sir". I was quite irritated and wrote my google review before leaving the store, which is not my norm. While waiting for my car to be done, this man became noticeably more accommodating, so much so that I was wondering - could he have read my google review that quickly? The answer was yes, and I was confronted in his office. I did in fact tell him I would remove or alter the review, so I am. However, I do believe that the tone changed only AFTER reading my review, despite what I was told. When I called my mother following this interaction to tell her about it she replied "Good!", and noted a very similar experience. So as I told this man who told me not to jump the gun so quickly when rating someone: Your customers are only here for maybe an hour, so perhaps it is a good thing to be aware of the perception that you are giving off in that time.

This was the worst experience I have ever had when getting a simple oil change. I bought a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. I shower up on a Monday at 130 in the afternoon. I was waiting for two hours. I finally saw my car go into the garage after I asked what was taking so long. Once the car came out the technician drove it up but left a wire hanger sitting on the passenger seat. When I asked why that was there he told me they had locked the key in and needed to break into my car. By that time I was fuming and would have killed someone if I was to talk to them about it. I got in the car and drove away. That’s when I realize how bad the inside of the care smelled like burnt engine oil. The rub is now I feel like I need to go back because as I drove back home I noticed that my car had started squeaking when I turn the wheel.
I went for a quote on a loud muffler. Pat took the time to explain my options and show me the problem. I don't have the $$ just now, but when I do I will go back and have the work done. Thank you Pat!
Great customer service. Started going to Meineke in Fair Lawn the past year or so. I decided to try it out the first time for an oil change because it was close to where I work. Since then, I have had some needed work done on my car. Now, I go there because I trust these guys. The prices are comparable or better than the nearby places. Trust me, I checked them all in the area. The waiting room is so pleasant to sit in too. Everything counts, even the little things. Highly recommend this place. If I ever need car work done again, I know where I will be going.
