So, here we go again - round 3 of calling Dietch's -- Friday, 5/19, I finally spoke to the owner. He seemed confused and blamed his florist. Both times I spoke to someone there, someone else was blamed but they all "remembered my order" and "thought someone else had taken care of it." The owner asked for my phone number and told me the florist I'd previously spoken to would call me the next morning as soon as she got in. It is now 5/22. I have not received any calls back, nor have I received any flowers. At this point, it is just ridiculous. I have given Dietch's so many opportunities to rectify the situation -- each time, I was met with utter incompetence and lack of care.

Spoke with the person working there on the phone and he was very strange, kind of freaked me out but since they were the only people open late enough I still placed a bouquet order. I showed up and waited for 15 min and couldn't find anyone, even looking at the bouquets, the flowers weren't that fresh.

I used to love Dietch's, but my entire opinion of the business is now in the gutter. Do not use Dietch's if you expect good customer service, or, actually, any flowers at all! I have absolutely no interest in using this business again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Received a Mother's Day arrangement from here today. No card attached. Driver had to show me the order to see who they were from (so I also saw the price). Granted, it's Mother's Day so prices are inflated. BUT when What you think you're ordering doesn't resemble what you receive, seems like fraud. Don't know who's at fault, Dietch's or website they were ordered through... but won't recommend this place to anyone!

A friend of mine sent me just because flowers and delivery was supposed to be last Monday. It was Wednesday and still hadn't gotten the flowers. My friend called and she said that the person who answered was "disoriented" (the word she used). She said they weren't familiar with the order and they would check on it while she was on hold. She said she nearly hung up the phone because of the long wait. Finally the person returned and said there was a "mix up" and the flowers would be delivered. They finally showed up and I sent a picture to my friend. She said the arrangement was not what she ordered. Both of us are disappointed in the service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I've been using Dietch's for the past few years (typically orders in the $150-200 range) and never had a problem. Ironically, I even wrote them a sparkling review on their website 5/11, the day I placed two separate orders to be delivered on Mother's Day -- one worth $64, the other worth $160. The $64 order to my boyfriend's mother arrived. However, my $160 order (their largest bouquet, max. amount of balloons, and a large box of chocolates) never arrived, despite the confirmation email, and the withdrawal of the money from my bank account.

Beautiful flowers, same day delivery. Excellent experience. 5 stars recommend to all.

HOWEVER, by the Friday after Mother's Day, my mom still didn't have her promised flowers. Luckily, I had been refunded my money for the order. If I hadn't been promised that I would receive my order complementary, I would have been satisfied with simply getting my money back. However, a promise is a promise, and if the business actually was interested in customer satisfaction, there would have been a bouquet of flowers on my mother's porch about a week ago.

The next morning, I called again and asked to speak to the manager. It turns out it was the owner who had answered and handed the phone to one of his florists (what the hell?). She was very nice and apologetic. She told me they would not only refund my money for that order but they would be sending me my order free of charge, acknowledging that I am a repeat customer of large purchases, which she admitted she wanted to maintain the relationship I had with the business. The florist was so kind she even insisted on having my mom's phone number so she could call her and apologize personally for the mishap. This was the Monday following Mother's Day. I was happy with this arrangement.

As noted, I have been a recurring customer with no problem, and that I would have been fine with simply the refund. However, I am disgusted that my mom was personally promised the flowers would be sent to her when the florist called her to apologize. I'm fine with being annoyed with the company, but what I'm not okay with is my mom feeling brushed to the side. I can say without hesitation that Dietch's ruined a day dedicated to mothers. They have sincerely upset my mother, who has held down two jobs for years in order to provide for us. They have upset a woman who did not deserve to be neglected on a day specifically created to celebrate her.

As it got closer into the evening on Mother's Day, I tried to call Dietch's to inquire as to the status of my order. The phone was "busy," but it seemed as though they had simply taken the phone off the hook. Finally, once I managed to call at around 6, no one answered. I continued to call a few times throughout the evening. Still, no answer. I left a voicemail and I sent them an email inquiring as to whether my order was on its way -- (I had placed the order days ago! More importantly, this was for my mother, who was starting to get upset thinking she had been forgotten about). I ended up having to ruin the surprise and tell my mom that I had tried to make her day special. But it gets worse:
